A Sinner's Prayer

Father, in Jesus Name, I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. However, I believe that Jesus paid the whole price for all of my sins, past, present, and future when He died on the cross at Calvary in my place, and, by faith, I believe that the Father in heaven has forgiven me of all of my sins past, present, and future, on the basis of what Jesus did on that cross at Calvary.

Father, in Jesus Name, I ask You to renew in me a clean heart, and I accept by faith Your forgiveness for all of my sins.

Now, in Jesus Name, I cast the burden of guilt off of me. I will not carry it any more, because Jesus took the burden of my guilt for me at Calvary.

Now, Jesus, I ask You to help me to stop insisting on my own opinions, my own desires, my own plans, my own goals, my own ways, my own dreams, so You can put in me Your plans for my life, Your ways, Your desires, Your dreams and change me from glory to glory into Your image.

Thank You, Jesus, for saving me and making me a new person.
